Early Head Start Teacher

Head Start Birth-5 has an opening for a full-time Early Head Start Teacher position working 35 hours per week. Responsible for the planning, organization, and implementation of education services for Early Head Start infants and toddlers ages 6 months to 3 years old.

Requirements

• Childhood Development Associate (CDA) credential or comparable credential and have been trained or have equivalent coursework in early childhood development with a focus on infant toddler development required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and experience teaching infants and toddlers preferred.
• Must meet Head Start and Indiana Child Care Licensing Regulations, including Head Start Standards of Conduct, federal and state criminal history requirements, sex offender registry checks, drug screen, physical, and complete an annual T.B. test.
