The General Manager leads the team responsible for all operational and financial activities of a large or complex asset, typically with PM or SPM direct reports. The position involves directing and controlling various activities such as tenant onboarding, lease administration, and financial management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) with 5-8 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience
- Real Estate License required where mandatory by local regulation, and CPM (Certified Property Manager) or RPA (Real Property Administrator) professional designation or candidacy preferred
- Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Yardi or MRI and Kardin preferred
- Working knowledge of leases, contracts, financial instruments, tax laws, and construction required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles required
- Leadership experience and skills to empower team to achieve a broad range of client and company objectives
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents and skill to solve problems involving several options
