Planner Buyer

Role Overview

The Planner Buyer is responsible for maximizing service levels while minimizing inventory levels, ensuring effective production and material planning. This role coordinates communication between customers, suppliers, and operations to ensure timely material availability and adherence to production schedules.

What You Will Do

Coordinate and manage communication with customers and suppliers, plan production and materials based on customer requirements, share forecasts and future material requirements with suppliers, and monitor and update operational metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in planning, purchasing, or similar roles
• Knowledge of material planning and direct material purchasing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skills
• Experience with SAP or Oracle systems (preferred)
• Experience in demand analysis and production scheduling
• Experience working with suppliers, preferably international suppliers
• Intermediate English proficiency
• Strong communication skills across multiple functions
• Analytical mindset with strong numerical and problem-solving skills
• Results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
