Upper School World Language Teacher - French

Léman Manhattan is seeking an Upper School World Language Teacher - French to join its vibrant, collaborative learning community. The successful candidate will teach a full time load of 5 classes, guide an advisory, and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in a related field
• Minimum of 3 years Upper School teaching experience
• IB Language A /B experience preferred
• Professional-level fluency in the target language
• Commitment to the school’s mission and core values
• Comprehensive knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
• Effective organizational skills
• Ability to monitor student progress and report information in a timely manner
• Ability to manage, delegate and monitor tasks
• Ability to mentor and coach students
• Highly developed collaborative skills
