Job Description
Long View is seeking a Senior Network Consultant for their Edmonton branch. The role involves building trusted client relationships, providing consultancy services for network design and implementation, and ensuring solutions meet client needs and security requirements. This position requires a client-oriented individual passionate about providing solutions for clients and a desire to work for a dynamic and fun IT provider.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an IT environment with network architecture design and deployment
- Experience with networking and security
- Ability to provide ongoing support, maintenance, and training on implemented systems
- Ability to perform network assessments and design recommendations
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of firewalls, IPS/IDS, TCP/IP, GRE, DMVPN, Client VPN, NAT, VRF technologies
- Understanding of Layer 2 and 3 technologies
- Understanding of Software-defined Networking (SDN)
- Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification
