Longhorn Village, a not-for-profit retirement community, seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide exceptional customer service and care to its growing community of active-minded senior adults. The candidate should have a strong positive attitude toward customer service, a genuine interest in geriatric care, and be able to motivate while maintaining relationships with staff and residents.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Assistant Program
- Successful completion of certification/state licensure process for Physical or Occupational Therapy Assistants
- Must be able to read regulations and write clearly
- Must be able to communicate in courteous, friendly manner
- Ability to effectively manage and direct subordinates
- Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, governmental agencies/personnel and the general public
