Patient Accounts Specialist collects and processes patient payments, provides backup for Patient Registration, and performs clerical duties.

Requirements

• Knowledge of insurance industry, and LWHA financial policies
• Knowledge of HIPPA compliance
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of financial terminology
• Skilled in data entry
• Communication – Speak with confidence and proper English and grammar.
• Customer service – Provide a positive experience for the patient.
• Personable – have a pleasant personality and professional appearance.
