Experienced Pediatric Therapy Medical Biller

Lowcountry Therapy Center is seeking an experienced Pediatric Therapy Medical Biller to join our growing team, responsible for submitting and managing insurance claims for Speech, OT, and PT services, working with Medicaid, TRICARE, and commercial insurance providers, and ensuring accurate billing compliance with South Carolina Medicaid requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience
• Pediatric therapy billing experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of South Carolina Medicaid, TRICARE, and commercial insurance billing requirements
• Experience billing for Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Physical Therapy services
• Experience with ClinicSource preferred
• Knowledge of CPT codes, ICD-10 coding, modifiers, and authorization processes
• Experience handling claim denials, appeals, and insurance follow-up
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple tasks
