Transmission Planning Engineer

Role Overview

LS Power is seeking a transmission planning engineer to conduct power system studies, participate in the development of long-term transmission plans, and perform reliability and compliance assessments and reporting to support new project development and existing utility operations across the United States.

What You Will Do

Perform power system modeling and simulations, identify transmission system needs/opportunities, coordinate and review interconnection and transmission studies, support transmission asset operations and regulatory compliance, and provide technical support for project development and acquisition activities.
