Job description
As an Electrical/Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Systems Engineer at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant, responsibilities include leading in the development of solutions to system issues in support of plant operations and maintenance during both outage and non-outage periods.
Key accountabilities include maintaining plant configuration control, providing technical expertise for electrical plant equipment issues, preparing plant improvement design modifications, and performing equivalency modifications for obsolete equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, experience with electrical and/or I&C systems design at a nuclear facility, and prior professional-level engineering experience. Strong analytical ability, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently are also required.
