
Job description
The CFD Engineer is responsible for performing advanced computational simulations to analyze and optimize fluid flow, heat transfer, and related phenomena in process equipment and systems. This role supports technology development, process design, and troubleshooting for licensed technologies, ensuring high performance, safety, and energy efficiency.
Perform CFD simulations for process equipment, analyze fluid dynamics, heat transfer, combustion, mass transfer and multiphase flow, validate CFD models, develop FSI models, support new technology development, contribute to digitalization initiatives, and prepare technical reports.
The ideal candidate will have proficiency in CFD tools, strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, mass transfer and heat transfer, experience with multiphase flow, turbulence models, and combustion modeling, and excellent communication and analytical skills.
