Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is seeking a Family and Community Engagement Advocate to support families and children in the Head Start/Early Head Start program. The advocate will work with families to identify and meet their goals, assist with child health screenings, and provide health and safety education activities.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- At least three years of experience working with children and families in a social services environment
- Certification in First Aid and CPR within three months of hire
- Successful completion of a Level II background screening and drug screening prior to hiring
- Bilingual preferred: English/Spanish or English and other languages present in the local area
