Foster Family Licensing Worker

LSSI is hiring a full-time Child Welfare Resource Specialist to provide resource services to foster and/or adoptive families in accordance with state mandates and agency policies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field, state licensing/certification, and previous child welfare experience.

Requirements

• Conduct in-depth mutual assessment of prospective foster/adoptive families
• Conduct ongoing mutual assessment with licensed families
• Participate in planning and implementation of recruitment for new foster homes
• Complete and submit required reports, documentation, and billing
• Identify ongoing training and support issues in existing homes
