Resident Engineer-NYC

Role Overview

M&J Engineering, P.C. is seeking a Resident Engineer with a NY PE License and 5-10 years’ experience to join our construction management team on construction projects within the NYC Metropolitan Area.

What You Will Do

Supervise inspection staff, provide daily on-site construction management and site inspections, manage office staff, and monitor Contractor performance.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Excellent communications and client relations skills, ability to manage a large staff of field personnel, and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience as a Resident Engineer on water/wastewater projects
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or a closely related field
• NY Professional Engineer (PE) License required
• NYCDEP experience is a plus
• Construction Management Association of America Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required
• Reliable transportation is required
