M9 Solutions is dedicated to providing IT services and solutions to the Federal Government. We are seeking a Data Scientist II to work remotely in support of a government contract for a client located in Washington, DC.
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of experience with machine learning engineering, data science, data project engineering, or software development for data solutions
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages (such as Python, JSON, C++, Java, R, or Scala)
- Experience with containerization tools, including Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with architecting and designing novel analytic methods using machine learning methodologies
- Experience with developing and supporting data-oriented tasks for cybersecurity solutioning
- Experience with developing and engineering data workflows to merge disparate data sources and draw data-driven insights
- Experience with designing and developing automation for security tools management
- Experience with Cloud Service Provider (CSP) solutions and their resources
- Experience with Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) and Security
- Ability to leverage a variety of data science capabilities and languages
- Ability to analyze and resolve critical data issues using various methodologies
- Ability to apply analytical rigor and statistical/ML methods to analyze large amounts of data
- Ability to perform analysis of structured and unstructured data to solve multiple and complex cybersecurity problems
- Ability to support high-visibility reporting on cybersecurity data through the development of data visualizations and/or dashboards
