
Job description
The Process Controls & Automation Technician plays a critical role in ensuring uptime and process optimization through advanced troubleshooting, calibration, maintenance, and programming of control systems and related electrical/electronic equipment.
Troubleshoot, repair, and install PLC-based control systems, maintain and update SCADA systems, perform backups of PLC and drive programs, calibrate and verify instrumentation, and install, commission, and maintain VFDs.
Strong attention to detail and documentation, excellent problem-solving skills, effective communicator and team collaborator, proactive and self-directed with time management abilities, and a continuous improvement mindset.
