Senior Manager, Engineering

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Engineering to lead the India-based team responsible for Logi Composer, insightsoftware's flagship embedded analytics platform. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineering leader who can build and scale a high-performance team, drive complex product deliveries across geographies, and raise the technical bar on a product used by enterprise customers globally.

Lead a team of engineers, drive recruiting and hiring, manage product delivery, and champion a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 8+ years managing software engineering teams of 15+ engineers
• 2+ years in second-level management (managing engineering managers)
• Proven track record leading geo-distributed teams and cross-region transitions
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels — developers to executives
• Strong emotional intelligence and data-driven decision-making with a bias for delivery
• Demonstrated ability to manage through ambiguity — especially during team transitions, product pivots, or organizational change
• Experience driving engineering culture in a remote-first or hybrid distributed team environment
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• 10+ years of web application development in Agile environments
• 8+ years engineering management, including 15+ engineer teams and 2+ years second-level management
• Java 12+ years and ReactJS/microservices 7+ years preferred
