Fabrication Manager

MagTech is hiring a Fabrication Manager to support the fabrication department in the Walled Lake, MI area. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in metal fabrication, knowledge of CNC machining, and hands-on ability in welding and machining. The Fabrication Manager will oversee employees, manage workflow, and ensure proper safety procedures are in place.

Requirements

• Manage and schedule work flow of incoming and outgoing jobs
• Oversee employees in the fabrication department
• Order raw materials needed for upcoming projects
• Ability to be hands on welding and machining if needed
• Schedule employees weekly accounting for jobs incoming and PTO requested
• Ensure proper safety procedures are in place and being followed
• Coordinate with the plant manager to effectively process jobs from start to finish
