Lead Carpenter

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Carpenter to oversee and coordinate various construction and restoration projects. The ideal candidate will possess management skills, extensive hands-on experience in multiple facets of construction, and the ability to manage teams effectively on-site.

Lead and supervise construction crews, read and interpret blueprints, oversee material procurement, perform heavy lifting, ensure safety protocols, manage project timelines, and communicate with clients and team members.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, drywall installation, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical work or related fields
• Some knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, metal stud framing, plastering, caulking, stucco application, water damage restoration, mold remediation, fixture installation, cabinet installation and door hanging
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment and heavy machinery
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks for extended periods
• Prior experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of safety procedures
• Excellent management skills with the ability to direct teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members
