Manager - TRIMS (EV CDMM)

Manager - TRIMS (EV CDMM) is responsible for developing right quality of parts to support desired production levels following APQP process, studying manufacturability, estimating costs, and participating in settling material and tooling costs within budgeted values.

Requirements

• Develop right quality of parts to support desired production levels following APQP process
• Study manufacturability and confirm manufacturability
• Estimate costs component wise and details costing of the components/new part
• Participate in settling material and tooling cost within the budgeted values
• Select vendor as per guiding policy for the part
• Plan process at supplier's end and prepare PFC (Process Flow Chart) and control plan
• Carry out MSA and SPC if required
• Cover applicable elements of PPAP and complete the documentation
• Meet the Gateways as per MPDS (Mahindra Product Development System) targets for projects
• Develop the part with right time and with right cost
• Ensure right fixtures, gauges and Toolings are planned for the development
• Ensure first time right PPAP
• Get actively involved in project feasibility studies
• Ensure 100% PIST (Percentage Inspection points Satisfying Tolerance and PIPC (Percent Indices Process Capable)
• Ensure 100% GR acceptance for the parts after PPAP approval
• Interface with the commodity teams to identify potential suppliers, get suppliers ratings, costs, and sourcing policy
