Sr.Engineer - Trims Engineering COE

Sr.Engineer - Trims Engineering COE responsibilities include benchmarking, design feasibility, tooling feasibility, data releases, and 3D model preparation. The role requires 3 to 5 years of experience in Trims and a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Requirements

• Benchmarking of competitions vehicle for features, ergonomics & Weight optimization.
• Provide Design feasibility to Styling by preparing multiple part proposals for improving part quality and interface.
• Preparation of DCS & Support PPT for Reviews
• Do the preliminary Tooling feasibility of parts with tool direction definition, parting line & Slider/ Lifter construction.
• Data releases for Vendor on Board, CAE & to Suppliers for Feasibility.
• Release of 3D models in Team center /PLM systems with related Quality checks.
• Perform the DMU, Assembly and Service study on designs
• Provide 3D CATIA models with GD &T Annotations
• CAD Design proposals preparation in consultation with internal external (Supplier) experts.
• Preparation of Bill of material.
