RN Charge, per diem

Maine Veterans’ Homes is hiring for a per diem Registered Nurse (RN) to work in a long-term care setting. The position offers two shifts per pay period, including flexibility for weekday or weekend work. Must be able to work 6am-6pm OR 6pm-6am, with a minimum of 2 shifts, and understand and respond to residents’ needs in English.

Requirements

• Current unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Maine
• Prior long term care experience preferred
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs in English
• Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English
• Basic computer skills
