Sanitation Supervisor, 3rd Shift

Role Overview

A Sanitation Supervisor enforces policies and procedures surrounding food safety and hygiene, ensuring manufacturing equipment meets governmental standards. They develop plans to correct violations, consult with management, and maintain relationships with vendors. This role requires hands-on leadership and involves developing training programs, delivering initiatives, and keeping records of sanitation-related activities.

What You Will Do

Oversee the sanitation process, ensure health and safety guidelines are followed, and continually improve towards an injury-free operation. Ensure key performance indicators in Sanitation areas are met or exceeded, and coordinate setup and implementation of standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• 1 or more years of sanitation, food safety or quality supervisory experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment
• 3 or more years of sanitation experience in a food/beverage manufacturing environment
• Results-oriented, possess strong interpersonal skills, be a team player as well as an independent worker and have strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Leadership skills as well as an appropriate amount of technical skills in a high-speed manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing techniques and related CI tools
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experience with corporate enterprise software systems
• Understanding of Master Sanitation Schedules
• GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) knowledge
• Experience with SQF or BRC audit prep and ATP swab experience is a bonus
