Sanitation Supervisor

Role Overview

The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for implementing the Sanitation program and ensuring that all current Food Safety Standards are met throughout the site. This includes training and developing sanitation employees, communicating with the Sanitation Manager and Plant Manager, and enforcing food safety standards.

What You Will Do

Assist in developing and maintaining the Sanitation program, assist with consumer complaint issues, develop sanitation procedures and paperwork, and work with the Sanitation Team to identify sanitation or regulation issues.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Sanitation or combination of education and experience
• 5+ years experience in food industry with at least 1 year as Supervisor/Lead
• Knowledge of Master Sanitation Plan and other legal requirements for the food industry, including GMP's
• Knowledge of FDA and MDA requirements
• Knowledge of GMP's, HACCP, Allergens, and SQF
• Understanding of 10 principles of sanitary equipment design
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP
