Airfield Operative

Malta International Airport plc is seeking a dynamic individual to maintain and keep the airfield and paved areas in optimal conditions, requiring repair and maintenance of asphalt and concrete pavements, regular inspections, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Completed secondary education successfully.
• One (1) year experience in construction, landscaping, grounds-keeping, mowing or related experience.
• Be in possession of a clean Police conduct.
• Hold an Airfield Driving Permit (ADP) or valid driving license (Cars, Category B).
• Ability to operate a variety of powered and mobile equipment to maintain grounds and airfield areas.
• Ability to operate manual and powered tools and equipment to plant and maintain turf, trees, shrubs, ground cover, and other plants.
• Knowledgeable or willing to learn about the Airport processes.
