Malta International Airport plc is seeking a dynamic Meteorological Forecaster to monitor weather and deliver forecast products tailored for aviation, general public, media, and marine. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely and accurate weather forecasts and warnings.
Requirements
- BIP-M compliant course or equivalent academic qualifications in Meteorological Forecasting from a recognized institution
- Experience working within a Meteorological Office providing aviation weather Forecasts in accordance with WMO Doc No.49: Technical Regulations, Vol. II, Part I, Section 6: Forecasts
- Excellent skills in interpreting various types of data, including Weather Model outputs, Satellite images, and Radar images
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Self-motivation and ability to work with minimum supervision
- Proactive approach to work and strong work ethic
