Job Description
MGX Field Crane Technicians are responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various crane equipment including mobile cranes and boom trucks. This position will be located at the Lee's Summit, branch for MGX Equipment Services and reports to the Service Manager.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Crane Mechanic/Technician preferred
- Must have a mechanical background and related experience with electrical and hydraulics; and be able to read both electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Must have experience in preventative maintenance and light equipment repair (i.e. oil changes, break jobs, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills with a customer/client focus
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Experience working with different forms of mobile crane and/or heavy equipment is a plus
