Damage Control Expert

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Damage Control Expert (SME) to join their team working in San Diego, CA. The Damage Control SME will work as a trainer on the COMNAVSURFPAC Readiness Assistance Training Team (RATT), providing timely direct support to ships and enhancing shipboard proficiency and self-sufficiency.

Requirements

• Conduct comprehensive material condition assessments, review, and assess damage control programs and preventive and corrective maintenance procedures
• Provide classroom and deckplate, on-the-job training to Sailors on proper and safe operations, maintenance, and management of combat systems onboard ships
• Travel up to 25% of the time in support of shipboard training, to include international travel
