Electrical Designer

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Electrical Designer to join our team in Chesapeake, VA. This is a Partially Remote position.

Requirements

• Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and layouts for electrical systems for Navy small boats using AutoCAD software
• Perform load calculations, select components, and ensure compliance with safety codes
• Collaborate with engineers to support technical solutions for NSWC Combatant Craft Division
• Ensure all designs adhere to ABYC, Navy and DoD electrical codes
• Conduct site visits in the Norfolk, VA area to verify as-built conditions and validate design concepts
• Collaborate with engineers and waterfront technician teams to resolve design conflicts
