Job description
The Shift Engineer is responsible for ensuring the maintenance of facility boilers, refrigeration systems, and HVAC units. They will oversee the maintenance and operations of plant utilities and provide 8 hour/day shift Engineer coverage for our food processing facility.
Maintain/monitor/test log all steam generating requirements, maintain/monitor/check all refrigeration equipment requirements, participate in plant equipment repairs and installations, and troubleshoot any mechanical breakdowns.
You will work in a unionized environment, operate freon refrigeration equipment, and respond to operations' requests for services. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and improving plant efficiency.
