We are looking for an experienced Lead QA automation engineer to join our Development department and take ownership of establishing and scaling our test automation practices across multiple development teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience in building and maintaining automated testing frameworks in brownfield projects, ideally with Playwright or a similar modern framework
- Strong understanding of different automation approaches – including end-to-end, API, performance, and BDD-style testing
- Hands-on experience in integrating automated tests with CI/CD environments and collaborating with DevOps on automation processes
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies, quality metrics, and test design principles, with the ability to balance business value and technical integrity
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead by example, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide QA engineers, helping them transition from manual to automated testing
- Experience in cross-team collaboration and proactive involvement in early stages of product design and planning
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and practical problem-solving within the QA domain
- Familiarity with AI-powered QA tooling (e.g., LLM-assisted test generation, intelligent test prioritization) and a demonstrated ability to adopt new AI tools into established workflows
