We are looking for a Head of Sales, Southern Europe to drive revenue growth and trade volumes across MarketAxess’ product suite in Italy and Spain. The role involves developing and deepening institutional client relationships, building and managing a disciplined pipeline, and representing MarketAxess at key client events and industry forums.
Requirements
- University degree
- 10+ years' experience in institutional sales or client coverage within financial markets
- Strong, demonstrable expertise in fixed income markets, electronic trading protocols, and market structure
- Deep understanding of client technology infrastructure and trading workflows
- Ability to lead client meetings independently, including senior level and strategic discussions
- People leadership skills; ability to manage, mentor and train junior sales team members
- Strong commercial judgement, credibility and executive presence
- Consistently results driven with a track record of sustained sales performance
- Fluent in Italian, Spanish, and English
