Tractor Technician

Role Overview

As a Tractor Technician, you will be responsible for performing quality major and minor in-house repairs to the Reefer fleet in a timely and efficient manner. You will maintain proficiency in the diagnosis and repair of all equipment, rebuild components, and perform preventative maintenance inspections.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include maintaining equipment, rebuilding components, performing preventative maintenance inspections, and ensuring compliance with company, EPA, and Safety policies.

This role requires mechanical skills and aptitude, as well as the ability to work in various climates and shifts. You will be responsible for the cleanliness of the work area and will be expected to attend company training classes.

Requirements

• High School Education with one year post high school training preferred or two plus years’ experience in tractor maintenance
• Mechanical skills and aptitude
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for long hours
• Ability to work various shifts and days in extreme climates
