We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team at Martin Sprocket & Gear. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC Lathe machines, optimizing setup times, and ensuring quality products.
Requirements
- CNC Operation: Set up full production cycle and operate CNC Lathe machines for tasks such as turning, drilling, bar feeding, and live tooling.
- Machine Optimization: Optimize setup times, improve productivity, maintain offsets, and maximize machine utilization.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and understand blueprints and route instructions.
- GD&T Application: Apply expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Program Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Inspection Process: Follow in-process part inspection protocols and report non-conformance issues to the Supervisor/Lead.
- Collaborative Communication: Coordinate with superintendents, managers, production control, and quality personnel to resolve quality concerns.
- Safety Compliance: Work safely and consistently wear required PPE throughout the shift.
- Shift Documentation: Record and document issues for a seamless shift transition.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform daily maintenance checks and document findings.
