IT PMO Director

Role Overview

The IT PMO Director will lead the IT Project Management Office, responsible for executing all IT projects. The team will work on large-scale enterprise programs and cross-functional initiatives, managing budgets, schedules, dependencies, risks, and resource utilization. The Director will partner with senior business and IT leaders to define priorities and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include defining and implementing the overall IT PMO strategy, establishing standardized project management processes, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The Director will also manage the IT project portfolio, oversee large-scale enterprise programs, and provide executive-level reporting and dashboards on portfolio performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in IT project/program management with increasing leadership responsibility
• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise PMO functions or large-scale IT portfolios
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid)
• Experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets and enterprise-wide initiatives
• Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
