Job description
As a Physical Design Engineer at Marvell, you will work on the physical design and methodology for future designs of high-performance processor chips in a leading-edge CMOS process technology. You will be part of a global team and work on both the physical design of complex chips and the methodology to enable an efficient and robust design process.
You will work hands-on by running RTL code through synthesis and place and route (PnR) tools to create the physical view of the chip, then analyzing performance by running timing analysis and verifying the power grid by performing EMIR analysis, etc.
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Previous experience in Physical Design with a focus on block-level PNR for advanced CMOS process nodes is a bonus.
