Regulatory Counsel Brazil

Mastercard Brazil is seeking a Counsel, Regulatory to support product launches, rule changes, participant matters, and regulatory authorizations in light of the increased complexity introduced Central Bank of Brazil under a new regulatory framework.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with experience in financial regulation, payments, banking, fintech, or another regulated sector
• Experience with product reviews, regulatory approvals, rule changes, or cross-functional implementation projects
• Strong knowledge of the Brazilian regulatory environment and Central Bank interaction
• Sound legal judgment combined with pragmatic business orientation
• Strong writing, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in Portuguese and English
