SOC Architect (Remote)

MatX is seeking an experienced System-on-Chip (SoC) Architect to lead the design of our next-generation AI-focused, server-class silicon. The ideal candidate will have industry experience in complex SoC architectures, knowledge of memory systems and interconnect fabrics, and excellent technical communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

• Lead SoC architecture by translating Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) into SoC-level architectures in collaboration with subsystem architects and cross-functional teams
• Define SoC architecture including memory, systems, interconnects, clocking, power, IP requirements, and system integration
• Define system flows for power-up, boot, and recovery
• Own PPA feasibility and drive power, performance, and area trade-offs with implementation teams
• Own architectural specifications and documentation from definition through productization
