Environmental Compliance Specialist

The Environmental Compliance Specialist will ensure the facility’s compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations by developing and implementing environmental programs, conducting regular inspections, and developing strategies to control pollution and improve environmental quality.

Requirements

• 2 years of Environmental Health work experience in a manufacturing facility
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Environmental Health)
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working with Federal and State agencies (OSHA, EPA/DEP, etc.)
• Experience with Hazardous Waste Management
• Intermediate computer skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Exceptional reading comprehension and attention to detail
• Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
• Certifications in Environmental Health & Safety related programs (preferred)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) (highly preferred)
