Control Systems Engineer

Role Overview

This is a full-time position in the downtown Houston office supporting control system projects, installation, commissioning, and startup in the Midland/West Texas area and Mont Belvieu area. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of legacy PLC and HMI platforms, process functionality, programming methods, and configurations.

What You Will Do

The Control Systems Engineer will be responsible for implementing new controls templates, working independently, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. They will also manage multiple tasks, manage large amounts of work through others, and travel up to 40% domestically.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or 10 years of controls-related experience, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in process control and related systems in processing plants.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in engineering or 10 years of controls-related experience
• 5 years' experience in process control and related systems in processing plants
• Extensive knowledge of legacy PLC and HMI platforms
• Working experience with Allen Bradley PLC
• Working knowledge of Honeywell Experion DCS, and Triconex Safety Systems configuration experience
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs and climb a ladder
• Ability to travel up to 40% domestically
