Job Description
McAllister Towing is seeking a highly qualified Internal Auditor/Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) Manager to oversee and improve their maritime operations in New York Harbor. The role involves training, inspection, communication, and ensuring compliance across all aspects of the company's business, from ship docking to offshore operations. They are a long-standing provider of quality tug service in the area.
Requirements
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor and ISM Auditor training
- Prior experience auditing and conducting training in a marine environment
- Superior communication, presentation, and software skills
- Knowledge of company, industry, and regulatory standards for towing vessels
- Proficiency in Twin-Screw tugs and Z-drive tug experience (preferred)
- STCW Certification
- Current U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential
- Valid Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to climb a 12-foot ladder
