We are currently exploring potential candidates for an upcoming role at McDermott. The Instrumentation Designer provides solutions to problems in the Instrumentation Design discipline without supervisory approval and will evaluate and select solutions from established operating procedures and/or scientific procedures.
Requirements
- Prepare and develop arrangement and detail FEED, studies, and detail design drawings of high technical quality and professional consistent presentation
- Assist in the preparation of 3D models
- Apply basic technical skills and knowledge to complete assigned work
- Manage own time to meet deadlines set by others
- Become familiar with the Contract Scope of Work, specifications, schedule, and all inter-discipline requirements
- Maintain a filing system for various drawings and documents
- Recognize changes to scope and notify the Discipline Lead Designer
- Interface with all disciplines to develop clash-free designs
- Review all project design documentation for detailed technical interfaces
- Prepare Discipline deliverables such as: Detailed design drawings, As-built drawings, etc.
