Job Description
The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for applying their existing knowledge in Marine Operations and Pipeline Installation to serve as a Pipelay Lead for vessels, bids and projects. The role requires a well-rounded and deep understanding of offshore pipelay and pipe production operations, installation analysis, subsea structure designs, rigging practices, and project engineering capability to serve as a scope lead for a smaller team of approximately 2-5 other Project Engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in project engineering
- Deep understanding of offshore pipelay and pipe production operations
- Installation analysis, subsea structure designs, rigging practices, and project engineering capability
- Ability to guide and teach junior engineers
- Experience in coordinating and guiding the works of others to deliver the project scope on time and under budget
- Ability to operate independently with minimal guidance
- Familiarity with QHSES principles and practices
- Ability to solve complex problems by identifying innovative solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
