McGill St-Laurent is seeking a Finance Director to lead its finance team and drive month-end close transformation, in a fast-growing commodities and energy trading firm.
Requirements
- CPA designation required
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including 3+ years leading a team
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems — NetSuite experience is a strong asset
- Deep understanding of internal controls, month-end close processes, and multi-entity consolidation
- Experience in a trading, commodities, or multi-entity environment is an asset
- AI-forward: you actively use AI tools in your own work and have pushed your team to do the same — not as an experiment but as a genuine productivity lever
- Strong data mindset and Excel skills — you think in structured datasets, not spreadsheet art; SQL or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) are an asset
- Bilingual (French and English) — required
