The McGill University Department of Pediatric Surgery invites applications for a full-time Contract Academic Staff position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor (Clinical). The position is based at the Montreal Children’s Hospital of the McGill University Health Centre. The successful candidate will participate in the academic activities of the department and engage in a busy tertiary academic and clinical practice. They will be expected to contribute to service activities within their unit, the University, and the wider scholarly community.

Requirements

• Hold an MD degree (or equivalent)
• Be eligible for licensure in the Province of Quebec
• Have fellowship training in Pediatric General Surgery
• Hold certification by the Collège des médecins du Québec or Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent)
• Demonstrate a commitment to high-quality teaching and inclusive pedagogy
• Bilingual language skills (French and English) are preferred, or a commitment to acquire the necessary language skills to practice medicine in Quebec
