Role Overview

MCI is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team. The role is responsible for overseeing the company's accounting operations, including financial reports, financial records, and implementation of controls and budgeting systems. The goal is to minimize risk, ensure financial reporting integrity, and maintain compliance with GAAP.

What You Will Do

Manage Accounts Receivable processes, record journal entries and bank transactions, process accounts payable bills and credit card transactions, execute month-end closing activities, and investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 1-2 years of accrual basis accounting working experience
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Ability to successfully plan, organize and manage projects
• Detail-oriented, excellent proofreading and editing skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
