Teaching experience in dental assisting, strong communication skills, and proficiency in didactic and clinical four-handed and/or six-handed dentistry

Three years of practical experience in dental assisting, current knowledge in dental assisting, and graduation from an accredited program in Dental Assisting

2+ years of medical assistant experience, teaching experience, and a diploma or degree in medical assisting

2+ years of professional experience as a Medical Assistant, diploma or degree from a Medical Assisting program recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, teaching experience in classroom settings required
