Job Description
The CNC Machinist for 2nd Shift applies knowledge of mechanics, shop math, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures to set-up and operate a variety of computer numerical control machine tools to produce precision parts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to organize work assignments to ensure efficient operations within the area
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to achieve intended objective
- Ability to read and use related quality control tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, indicators, and tape measures
- Good organizational skills
- Understanding of lean and 6S safety in a manufacturing environment
- Good computer skills
