MUSCP - Certified Medical Assistant- Primary care at Health West

Our small primary care clinic provides essential overall care for patients and acts as a coordinator for any specialty care needs. Staff in this clinic room patients, take vital signs and health history, and perform point of care testing. They also assist physicians with minor procedures and give injections.

Requirements

• Accurate calibrations and maintenance of clinical/lab equipment
• Maintaining and reviewing patient records
• Maintaining exam room supplies and cleanliness of patient care environment
• Triage patients and prepares for physician exams and procedures
• Administers prescribed treatments and tests as ordered by the physician
