Cost Accounting Manager

Role Overview

Reporting to the Global Plant Controller, the Cost Accounting Manager is a key contributor within the Accounting organization. This individual partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Distribution to drive financial performance and cost visibility across the enterprise.

What You Will Do

Lead and develop members of the Cost Accounting team, oversee cost accounting processes, analyze expenses, partner with teams to evaluate and reduce costs, determine landed costs, support budgeting and forecasting, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory valuation and reporting.

Must be available for relocation to Idaho Falls, Idaho, with corporate relocation assistance provided. Must have a minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in cost accounting, strong background in cost accounting within manufacturing environments, and experience leading accounting teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in cost accounting
• Strong background in cost accounting within manufacturing environments
• Experience leading accounting teams of Two or more professionals
• Demonstrated success as a change agent
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence a variety of audiences
• Experience working in a matrixed environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deliverables
• Familiarity with transactional and reporting systems
